Founded in Cambridge Massachusetts in the fall of 2024, Here on the Hill is a dynamic contra and folk trio featuring Tory Horner, Annie McDougall, and Rose Powell. With Tory and Annie's soaring fiddles and Rose's driving guitar, the trio mixes classic New England contra tunes, old-time tunes, modern gems, and original tunes together, creating a new and bold sound that moves dancers and listeners alike. This infectious new sound has made its way across dance floors and living rooms up and down the East Coast, from Georgia to Maine.
